Our Oatley RSL sub-Branch is operated by local veteran volunteers from all services and conflicts, standing ready to support our local veterans and their families. Veterans from Oatley NSW can connect with our Defence veteran community by contacting and joining the Oatley RSL sub-Branch or becoming a member of RSL NSW to access various services and support. This includes camaraderie, mateship, and recreational activities that bring together our veteran community through these events.
The Oatley RSL sub-Branch, along with its dedicated members, coordinates commemorations such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, welcoming new members and volunteers to help organize events that honor our veterans’ service and sacrifice. We have dedicated services and support staff for local veterans and their families, and we also organize numerous recreational, social, and sporting events throughout the year for our members and local veterans.
While the Oatley RSL Sub-Branch owns the property at 23 Letitia Street, Oatley, it is important to note that we do not operate the Oatley RSL Community Club. The Oatley RSL sub-Branch and the Oatley RSL Community Club are completely separate entities, though we work closely with the Oatley RSL Community Club to support veterans in the community.
Additionally, the Mortdale RSL sub branch and the Penshurst RSL sub branch are valuable resources within our region. The Oatley RSL Sub-Branch became an incorporated entity in June 2025.
The Oatley RSL Sub-Branch is not affiliated with the Oatley RSL Community Club nor its board and operations. The Sub-Branch owns the properties and the Oatley RSL Club rents the property from the Oatley RSL Sub-Branch. We are two different entities. The Oatley RSL Sub-Branch does not support pokies or gambling within our communities.
